Richard Bolton D.V.M. - Born and raised in Albuquerque with only a few short stays away from the state for Military Service and Veterinary School. Graduated from CSU in 1977 and came back to Albuquerque and started working at Bolton Animal Hospital, a practice which his father started back in 1941. He took over the practice when his father retired in 1983. He can remember helping at the hospital in some way or another since he was 4 years old and thinks he always knew that he wanted to be a veterinarian. He and his wife Shirley and have 2 sons both of whom are married and 2 wonderful grandchildren. When not working he enjoys visiting the grandkids, playing raquetball, and waterskiing. He loves to practice veterinary medicine and plans to practice for many more years to come. We have great clients that intrust us with their beloved pets and are thankful to them for their many years of loyality to our practice.

Deanna Post D.V.M. - Dr. Post joined our practice in May 2011. She is a 1989 graduate of Kansas State University Veterinary School. In clinical practice she enjoys working with cats and dogs and finds great joy in helping senior pets live out a happy, healthy, and comfortable life. When she is not working she spends time with her fiance, 5 dogs and 10 cats. Her passion is raising and showing American Saddlebred horses. She also enjoys reading, decorating, visiting America's Historical landmarks and encouraging others to follow their dreams.

Susan Larsen D.V.M. - Susan was born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from UNM with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. Afterward she attended CSU were she graduated in 1983 with her veterinary degree. She returned to Albuquerque and has practiced small animal medicine at several clinics in town including the Animal Humane Association and the city Animal Services Division. She has worked with many local rescue groups helping those animals in need when she could. When not working she enjoys hiking, reading and seeing movies. She and Ian her son share their home with 7 dogs and 3 cats all of which she has rescued.

Sheryl Laurie Horn D.V.M. - Laurie is a native New Mexican raised in Roswell. After attending NMSU with her older brothers, she went on to Oregon State to get her veterinary degree and graduated in 1986. Raised in an athletic family she still enjoys playing soccer and softball. She has a passion for all pets, and shares her home with 9 cats.
